In todays Tedx Enniskillen Speaker Special episode we have Briana McAteer who is a founder and director of Briana McAteer Coaching, and coaches women to stop binge and emotional eating.  She combines her training as a Certified Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach and Personal Trainer with her own experiences to help women heal their relationship with food and experience freedom and empowerment in all areas of their lives. 

After years of struggling with her self-esteem, especially in regards to food and her weight, Briana wanted to become a woman in control of her eating habits, and her relationship with food.  Tired of wasting energy thinking about food, she wanted to devote her energy to things that really mattered, like fostering a positive body image and feeling healthy physically and mentally.  Through her work, Briana found emotional freedom from the constant battle with food and weight, and she learned the intricate ways our relationship with ourselves is embodied in our relationship with food.  

The emotional weight of people pleasing, self-judgement and low self-worth has us reaching for food.  Briana’s coaching addresses the root causes through the practice of mindful awareness and emotional management.  As a result her clients experience more peace of mind, freedom and a greater sense of self-acceptance.
